About Island Signdesign in the Comox Valley
From it’s inception in 1985, Island Signdesign has experienced many changes over the last 3 decades. “Signdesign” is now purposely down sized into a small sign production company in the Comox Valley BC.
In recent years, Signdesign has evolved into a fine art studio gallery while still maintaining some sign manufacturing aspects. Bryan Kemila has produced stunning photo realistic fine art paintings in acrylic and oils of some of the world’s most beautiful women.
Sign painting was always an interest for Bryan. From a very early age, drawing, painting pictures and signs were found to be fascinating. At the age of 12, Bryan painted his first sign for the 4-H young people’s farm club. The sign was used to identify a one acre plot of wheat on the family farm that would be used as an exhibit when it came harvest time. A small sample of the wheat would then be judged at the local 4-H club evaluation meeting. Where also, this particular sign would be put on display to be judged. And (modestly stated), it won first prize.
This has been quite a leap when you think about it. What started out as a hobby painting a 4-H sign and drawing pictures of animals and scenery, led to meeting and painting Playboy and Penthouse models from around the world.
Having extended this brief introduction to Signdesign and to myself, Bryan Kemila, I would like to thank each one for visiting this site. If there are any signage needs for your business or personal use, do not hesitate to contact me with your inquiries. If you’re searching for high end, intensely detailed acrylic and/or, oil paintings, please view the Fine Art Gallery, or the large selection of Fine Art Prints available.
Soon to come … a unique fine art only site …
